Operation Bootstrap Collective
A History of Community Enterprise in South Central Los Angeles 1965-1980s

In this ongoing project, I collaborate with a team of scholars to share the story of Operation Bootstrap and Shindana Toys.  Our work has taken many forms for The American Journal of Play, The Strong Museum and KCET (SoCal PBS).
